Nicki first started playing with Steve Jinks’ Sunday Blues nights at The Red Lion, before joining The Lena Black Band.

During this time she met up with Paul and became the only female member of
The Part Time Blues Band.

She also played guitar with
"The Bucket Brigade" and "Smokeshack",
formed "Toe Jam Soup", and joined "Pure Passion" playing Bass guitar.
